Hoosier bias-ply slicks

I am looking for some fifteen-inch, 28"-tall, X 9"-wide Hoosier bias-ply slicks and have found that they come in a tread compound "D-06."

I am trying to maximize initial bite with a 3,600 pound car (including driver weight) that has an automatic transmission, and weight distribution of probably 53/47. 445 rwhp and a 4.10 gear; 2,500 rpm stall.

I am trying to avoid wheelspin and am curious if this "D-06" compound is the right one for this car. The Hoosier site has no information that I can find about tread compounds. I may be overlooking it... I dunno.

Anybody have any information about Hoosier tread compounds you'd like to share?

Any info will be much appreciated.

Bill

I wonder what you would have to do to leave off a transbrake with that tire to a stock suspension / modified suspension like yours (????)

They do make a stiff sidewall bias ply tire. My suspension really isnt modified, its reassembled with better parts which includes springs. I think the only "modified" part is the lower A arms, the hole had to be opened up to get the Santhuff shocks in there. It worked just as well with my KONI street adjustables, the KONI's just couldnt handle the landing. I leave flashing my car from <1500 rpms, so I cant imagine a transbrake hitting the tires much harder than I do when it flashes to 5k+.
