Chassis Tuning Help:

Okay guys, I have a little rear suspension problem. I have a 3100lb bracket car with QA1 single adjustable coil overs and ladder bars that runs 6.60's in the 1/8th. The problem I have is that the right shock on the rear is planting much harder than the shock on the left which bothers me cause the right shock looks to be very close to bottoming out. Now, I need some help on how I should try to fix the problem. My main dilemna is that the car leaves perfectly straight right now so I don't know exactly what I should do. I have already tried to tighten up the right spring to help with this issue, but I don't want the spring to coil bind. I could really use the help and if anyone has some useful info, please post your input.

I would try 1 or 2 flats of preload on the top right bar & see if this helps. Do you have adj. shock mts on the rear?

I actually do: adj. rear lower shock mounts, and thanks for the response cause as of now, I really haven't gotten too many answers besides just making sure that the rearend is still square, and ensuring that it isn't twisting the axles. My dad is thinking about putting a heavier spring on that side but I haven't heard of anyone setting up their coil overs like that, may work though. Again thanks!

You can get more shock travel by raising the bottem shock mts then backing off the springs to get the ride heigth where you want it. You can also trim the shock bumpers to increase travel.

you will need to adjust the ladder bar . you can wind the spring up all you want and it's not gonna change much . ladder bars don't allow the rear roll like a 4-link would. i would check to see if there is preload on the bar now . just loosen the front bolt on the pass side and with your weight in the car see if it moves freely. i'll bet it out of adjustment and is holding that side down.
