Replacement Carb

Having a heck of a time finding the correct Thermoquad to build a 1973 400 cubic inch 260HP/auto combination. The NHRA tech guide calls for model #'s 6321 or 6342. The rule book states "replacement carbs permitted provided they are the same model, type, throttle bore, and venturi size. Since the 850 cfm Thermoquads used on big block Mopars were unchanged from 1972 to 1974, would a carb from one of these years be accepted?

Yes they would be, you can run any of the TQ as long as they are the same size. I have 9013 off a 77 400 that is in primo shape. Look at this site for all the TQ numbers
