Re: ball joints
Well maybe I wasnt clear enough. Howe racing has longer ball joints being the stud relocating upper control arm higher than stock permitting more suspension travell. Lowers move spindle .5 higher helping whells remain vertical dureing whell stand. Anybody here have input is this only manufacture of this possibly cheaper. This is new to me any input would be apprecited.

Re: ball joints
I made upper ball joint spacers for our stockers to get more lift, you can still find them on E-bay, Henry.

Re: ball joints
I'm using a .5" longer mono ball joint on my Chevelle, but we used the Howe .5" longer joint on a buddies Chevelle. Very nice ball joint and it will give you ~.75" extra travel at the wheel. I would use the Howe joint long before a mono joint now that I know about them. Check with www.scandc.com They will build the joint with the .5" extra long stud so you don't have to buy them seperate.

Re: ball joints
The aluminum type ball joint spacers aren't legal in Stock Eliminator. They were, way back inthe Jr Stock era.
If you are going to use a non OEM spec (.5 long) ball joint, I'd just do it and stop broadcasting it. |
