We lost another one of our own today...... RIP Carl Schodde
 

I am very sad to inform everyone that we lost our good friend, Carl Schodde (sr).
Carl died today after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
Carl was a great person, father, husband, racer, and friend.

I'll post arrangements as they become available.

man I'm bummed...I was just talking to John Kunsak on the phone last thursday about Carl. My condolences to all as well-- I last saw and talked to Carl when I flew east for the springnationals, 1988-spent a lot of time aorund him at Keystone and PID when I was helping John in the early 70s. Thanks for posting and also keeping me in touch with the good as well as sad news from my old hometown, Tom.

Very sorry to hear about Carl. He was a great guy and competitor. Whooped my butt years ago at the NAAR Nationals,I think it was,held @ the now Pittsburgh Raceway. Rest in peace my friend.

It seem like every week we hear of another racer making his last pass here on earth. Carl is on a list of good racers that have passed in the last couple of months, boy I am getting old I guess. My deepest sympathies and condolances to the Schodde family, I remember him well back in the 70s Be at peace old friend.

There will be viewings for Carl on Saturday and Sunday. (Funeral on Monday).
