What Trans?
 

I am working on converting my Mustang to a Super Stocker (Still)... and thinking about putting a manual trans in it. What are you guys running? is the T-5 strong enough?, or do I need to look for a Tramec or someting else? Just something I am kicking around at the moment, I have a C-4 lined up at a decent price just in case.

Jerico. You don't want to play with no 5-speed! ;)

If your still thinking about the '68 302, I don't think you can use a 5 speed trans since it wasn't available behind the original engine. If your going with a stick, a Jerico is the only way to go. A properly built C4 can easily handle it if you go automatic.

I've ran both trannys...a g-force t-5 is in my mustang. Its a good tranny, but you cant beat the jerico. I'd go with the jerico, you wouldnt have to worry about it breaking..
