Interior paint?
 

I remember seeing an article that featured a paint that can be used on interior plastic. I've heard that it works pretty well. What company makes this?

Earle,I used SEM Color Coat "Flexible Coating". Make sure you get the right primer (it`s listed on the side of the can) and follow the directions.Still looks great in the Firebird.

Dupli-Color Vinyl and plastic paint. I bought mine at Wally World and also, Autozone, most of the auto parts stores sell it. I re-dyed my faded front cloth seats in my Turbocoupe. I also used this stuff on all of the plastic in my stocker. I am pleased with it. Somewhere around $2.90- $4.00 a can.

I've used the SEM paint and primer on our 71 Mustang interior and it looks very nice. Like Adam said just follow the directions.

My brother and I used the SEM dye for plastic materials and it looks and worked great.
Make sure the parts you are painting are absolutely spotless clean or the paint will lift. The slightest trace of oil will cause problems. We received a tip from another car forum to scrub the parts you are going to paint with Comet or Ajax cleanser to get the grease, oil, & polishes off. It was good advice. I painted them with a touch up gun and they came out like new.

Either SEM or Dupli-color are good, use an flexible adhesion promoter for best results.
