Porta Tree Timing Question?
Do any of you guys know a formula to figure out roll out time. Meaning if my car has a 1.40 60' with a 27.5 inch front tire. What should I set my practice tree roll out at when practicing this winter. Thanks Eric

Re: Porta Tree Timing Question?
I dont have one of the newer ones. I had one years ago, but I think I used to put like 050 or something, cause I footbraked. that was a long time ago. Maybe I should re invest in one, the way I drove the last 1/2 the season....

Re: Porta Tree Timing Question?
last season i raced in pro eliminator,i had built a gas pedal set up that was exact to my cars set up and the roll out number that put into my porta tree was .386 (if memory serves,i will check the numbers later)now this is with a car that 60' 1.615-1.600 in the best conditions, that number is a close as i could duplicate between the two
also if you track is set up with a porta tree timing system you can purchase a sensor kit that you mount in the car and will comunicate with the track timing system and give you a vrt(vehical reaction time ) thats the number that you need to put in as roll out hope this helps gmonde |
