rule changes for 2009 re fire extinguishers
 

called div 1 and was told any car running 6.00 to 7.49 must have a fire system 5lb bottle 2 nozzles. this will effect top sportsman and top dragster. the only reason i am posting on 9.90 is alot of them who run td will be effected. i also talked to a nitro alchol owner and they do not have fier systems and are not required. i am having mine put in now but i still can not understand why!!!

Personally, I think any car running 9.99 or faster should have one. They are not a heck of a lot of money, and it would make sense seeing as how they make us wear fire suits. I think this and the diaper rule were way over due!

Again, just my opinion, for what ever that's worth.
