ECU Recommendations for Stock Eliminator

I'd like to hear your recommendations and experiences with the various ECU's available for use in Stock Eliminator. It seems from what I've read that the Holley and FAST units are the most popular. Which is more user friendly? Any compatibility issues with other electronics (i.e. MSD Digital Ignitions)? Which company provides better customer service? Is the software package of either manufacturer preferable to the other? Is there a big difference in price?

I know this has probably been discussed previously in another thread, but I just recently began looking into EFI and was curious as to which unit is the better piece.

Thanks!

Jared-

I asked this question about 6 months ago or more and did intense research and decided on the FAST system. This system is very user friendly and the data logger will prevent you from melting important engine parts, if you listen to what it's telling you...... I believe the most important part of the purchase is who you purchase it from. I recommend buying from a racer familiar with stock eliminator. At your location, Chuck Norton would be an excellent contact. I believe Chuck runs the Holley system in his SS car but knows several running it in stockers.

I purchased my system from Bruce Witherspoon. I won't post his contact information on here, maybe if Bruce reads this he will PM you. Bruce has been great to work with because he understands and knows stock eliminator engines. I don't believe you would get the same treatment with someone directly at FAST or Holley, maybe I'm wrong.

Good Luck

Tim

Bruce and Chuck are great guys and very very helpful.
But the customer service from fast themselves sucked. I just noticed that my post about fast was removed.

I have used Accel, Holley and FAST on my cars in the last 13 years. Holley is easiest to tune, great tech support. Holley is what I use on my car now.

i have the new fast system. it has worked great for me. even myself, who is not very computer literate, i have been able to download data and understand what i am looking at. i purchased my system from a individual dealer right where i live and he has been to the track with me. the car is pretty much on for being in 99-102 degree weather hear in texas. with the old accel system i had, i ran a 1.19 under index and now with this new system i predict possibly running anywhere from 1.22-1.25 under. but keep in mind i had to change to a fuel cell from a stock tank. but overall i have access to people that can help me with any problems that i have. any questions about this system dont hesitate to contact.
