East Coast Auto Electric's Ultra Mini alternator is a really slick unit. .. It's about the size of a coffee mug, I don't think it weighs more than 2 lbs. and puts out around 40 amps. ...... It also has a switch provision for shutting off the output ,if you so desire, altho I've only found that to be effective on cars with very low current draw on the fuel pump and ignition circuits. .... I've used several of them on my own ,and customers cars and have had no problems... John or Chuck can help you out,they are good people and also racers. ....... Tom
