Help With Lt1 Rear!!

Still trying to get my car running right. Have put the best of everything in the car and still am a tenth and half behind everyone in C in the 60 foot. Was wondering what gear ratio anyone has run in a 94-95 LT1 camaro??? Have tried multiple tranny converter combinations. Car has Turbo Action metric 200 in it. NEED HELP with this. Car has good parts top to bottom and still wont run right. Thanks.

Sean...My car was much lighter...3050-3090lbs and I ran a 4.56 gear. I swapped in a 4.88 and my car slowed down. It did not like the higher rpm and it also always ran faster when I shortshifted the 1-2 and by a lot of rpm. I too was weak in 60 ft. with a best of 1.34 in killer conditions. Average was 1.40. If you have good parts and have tried a lots of stuff.....I would lean toward the tune-up in the fuel map. Did you do a chassis or engine dyno session? Unless you have a known good fuel map from someone...I think it is a must. What engine management controller do you have? If it's a Holley lots of guys have a good map for that one...... Too bad we never worked out the trade....I sold my car and bought a Racetech dragster....good luck.....Rich
