2 step footbraking

I didn't want to step on Garret's thread, so I started a new one.

This seems controversial in Stock, but here's the question anyway.

For those that use a 2 step while footbraking, what are the major reasons for doing so?

1. more consistent staging rpm?

2. quicker 60'?

3. quicker reaction time?

Re: 2 step footbraking

1 & 3 are the most anwers you will get ,i dont think that quicker 60' ets will be one of them,if you run a quadra jet, thermo quad, motorcraft, afb carter, the accerator pump circuit some time wont give you the consistancy of launch on every pass, with a high stall converter and well engineered brake system you will be able to leave like a trans brake car gmonde
