Looking for advise help with s/ss combo
Hello guys been reading these post now for about 3 months, and its seems like you all are a great bunch of knowlegable people. i have a 1967 plymounth fury vip III 2 door hard top. it has a factory 383 in it.questions are i think we want to race stock but is the 383 combo ok or the 440 combo. they show very differant hp factors, and is 383 easy and cheaper or is it worth the extra hp gain on the 440. i think ss might be a bit much for us now. my son wants to due small wheelies but be some what consistant. also concerned with can we get the car to react with foot brake to cut a desent lite sorry for writing a book but dont have excess money to spend on to many mistakes thanks nacho

well with the 383 it would be a natural L add weight to M....the M/SA index is 13.15 I think it would run the index ok...it will be heavy! 3950 for L & 4090 for M ! i think i'd have to try M with it.....not a barn burner but i think 12.80's are not out of the question....Good Luck!
