Tranny shields

I have a 70 Chevelle with a turbo 400.Can anyone tell me what tranny shield they use.I do not want to use a blanket and the one I tried hits the tunnel.I really don't want to cut or hammer the tunnel.Thanx in advance.

I have the C.S.I. one piece shield on my TH-400, in a 79 Malibu and it touches nothing. ??

Bolt access is tight at the pinch weld for the driver side middle bell bolt, but no worse than the factory installation of the TH-350.

I can't get the CSR composite shield to work in a 69 camaro, without a body hammer, so forget the CSR in a 70 Chevellle. Maybe the later model cars have more room.

Tommy Waters in Fl, fit great, just use a Turbo-Action step out arm on the linkage, works great. Brian
