Success with New Two Step Rule ???

Just wanted to get an opinion as to how you guys are making out with the new two step rule? I read an article that Peter Biondo was having a hard time a couple of weeks back.
Also, how are you mounting the switch to the brake pedal and what kind of switch (brand) are you using? We haven't made the modification yet and would like some tips regarding how to do it the right way.

Thanks

I don't know that I'd consider winning the Gators as "having a hard time".:D If that's a hard time, I hope we fall on "hard times" REAL soon.

I know some people using a switch in the pedal itself, and some using a switch mounted in place of the brake light switch. I think Biondo's has several switches available, and I'm told they're very helpful.

I was going to put a 2 step switch in place of the brake light switch but I was concerned about (1)the switch being on untill the pedal traveled enough to close the loop and (2) the 2step engaging when you hit the brakes at the big end. EX. going from 7800 to 3000rpm has to be hard on the rotating assembly. I could be over engineering I guess. Im using the original clutch pedal with a button to leave the line and that pedal is now locked and moves together with the original brake pedal. Kinda like two pedals working as one.

Call Biondo. They have a switch for the brake pedal that takes the place of the brake light switch, and it is adjustable.

Im going to wait untill we hit the first national event and see if what I have is even legal. The car is fresh with 0 runs on it but in the driveway it works pretty slick!! Almost like leaving with a clutch but without the breakage. hahaha. I would kill for a Jerico!!!
