Building a stocker.

I am currently building a 1971 mustang and would like some opinions on a 351c for a stocker engine.

Yea, do talk to Rob. He's at Advanced Clutches, find him at www.advancedclutches.com. He had the baddest Boss 351 ever seen. The specs on this engine are outrageous. It wouldn't cost much more to build a 351 Boss than a 351 CJ. Bearing life is an issue if pushing the engine to the extreme. Stick only combo but who would want an auto behind and Clevland? :D

And Vic G. is also offering good advice on the 429 SCJ. Pick your poison!

Good parts here, too. Virgin 4 bbl heads, block, 2 cranks & rod sets. Can make great power with 351C. I Had an Employee & a Roundy Round customer.
that we flogged them for. I've got some other tips on the bearing & oil issues.

Re: Building a stocker.

You could contact Tex Miller who has run a 351C forever. He has had the records throughout the years in different classes. He could be selling one? Had the record at 10.64 @122.96 in E/SA & F/SA last year.
