I live in Texas and have a 331 stroker I run 1/8 mile and drive on the street sometimes. I shift at 6300 any recommendations on motor oil?

Re: Motor Oil
I would choose a weight that gives you 60 psi of oil pressure at 6300 RPM. Start with a 10w/30 and see what it provides. Engine components and clearance will dictate oil weight. I like the Brad Penn or Valvoline as they are easily attainable and tend to be a little cheaper.Post up your findings

Re: Motor Oil
I have a 331 SB Ford in my 4 speed bracket car, with a flat tappet solid lifter cam. Shift at 6800, 7200 thru the traps at 128 MPH. I have been using Brad Penn Penngrade 1 10-30 oil for years. Also use it in my 427 & 428 Ford FE flat tappet engines.Works great in my buddys solid roller engines as well.
