Big ASRA Weekend !
 

Saturday June 17th & Sunday June18th ASRA will host a dbl header race to include the VP fuel race . Racer with the highest points total of both races will be awarded the fuel a drum of VP C12 courtesy of Howard Commander and Wayne DelMonte of LVD . Racer need not be a member of ASRA. Also ASRA will host its annual racers picnic after Saturday's race. ASRA will have burgers and dogs for all ,racers and guests are encouraged to bring a side or desert. Still plenty of of time to join the points chase as we only have 1 race in the books ! So please lots of reasons to come join us . Great racing , people ,bench racing and some good food and time to spend with friends. See ya at the Valley . Lebanon Valley Dragway .

Hi All,

Unfortunately we are faced with another challenging forecast heading into a race weekend. Been a tough stretch in the northeast. The ASRA BOD wanted to give insight into where we are at.

Firstly, we are cancelling the picnic for Saturday night at this point in time. We are making this decision in an effort to be courteous to those that bring side dishes/desserts to hopefully intercept perishable items from being bought or made. The picnic will be rescheduled to a later date.

We are not making a call on the race itself at this point in time. We will continue to monitor the forecast and discuss as a group with the expectations of having a decision tomorrow afternoon.

We do have some rain dates previously aligned with the track, and we'll also communicate details on make-up dates as we progress through this weekend.

Everyone's patience is appreciated as we deal with mother nature.

Due to the rain forecasted on Saturday, June 17th, ASRA has made the decision to postpone that race. We do intend to race on Sunday, June 18th as the rain is expected to clear out. Sunday could be a busy day with a late start, so keep in mind the track might make the call to do 1 time trial and then right into eliminations.

If we are able to complete one race this weekend, the plan would be to hold the rain out on July 30th. ASRA is already scheduled to be there the 29th, so this would then become a double race weekend.
