SSSSA Starting Season With A Bang!
 

Saturday April 22 the Southern Stock/Super Stock Association sponsored by Competition Carburetion will be starting our 2017 season points races with a bang at Orlando Speed Word! There will be Pro Mods and several small tire classes as well as NMCA Open Comp racing with our Stock/Super Stock race! It's going to be a fun race! Gates will open at noon and the gate fee for us will be $20. $75 to race your NHRA, IHRA or NMCA legal combo race car. Once again our payout depends on the turnout of our racers! Get your tech cards at the SSSSA tech tent and join the fun!!
We will also hold race #2 on Sunday April 23 (the next day) . Gates open at 10am and the gate fee for us is $12. This is a TNT day at OSW.

SSSSA's Saturday's race winner was Corky Bumpus driving his '67 Barracuda. Eric Raymer wheeled his 2014 Cobra Jet Mustang to the runner up spot with an 8.92 on an 8.90 dial. Sunday was John Meinelt (pronounced mynelt) in his F/SA '67 Camaro for the win over Barry Dorn in his beautiful HEMI powered '67 Dodge Coronet . Our next race will be May 13, & 14, 1017 at Orlando Speed World. Jim
