As of 4:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, the CCRA event at Darlington Dragway is STILL on schedule for tomorrow, Saturday, October 27th. There is only 20-30% chance of rain there all throughout the day & Ronnie (track owner) stated he could not cancel an event with that little percentage of rain. However if the event is cancelled for tomorrow, it will be run on Sunday. The event for Fayetteville on Sunday has been cancelled & moved to another date. More information on that will be on the CCRA #6 post.

Also, beginning with this weekend throughout the remainder of the season, CCRA t-shirts will be on sale for $10 each. I have some of all sizes available & we want to sell out of this season's shirts. We hope that we can maintain the same sponsors in 2013 as well as add some new ones so the 2012 t-shirts need to go. Not to mention that t-shirts sales goes towards the championship points fund too!!

I just talked to Ronnie and the race is still on for today. It is not raining there. Donnie Moore Jr is there now and his weather station shows wind to be blowing at 4 mph with gust up to 11. Hope to see everyone there.

Hey Tabitha how did things go? Robbie had a bad motorcycle wreck friday night an is in the Trama CC unit an UT hospital .

The race was ran yesterday. We had 17 cars make the first round call. Kevin Riner took the win over Brandon Peterson. Roy Davis was the lone semi-finalist. Thanks to all that came out for this race & endured the weather. Special Thanks to Ronnie Siders & his crew at Darlington Dragway for getting this race in!!! I will post more detailed information tonight when I get home to all the information.

Praying for Robbie!! Please keep us updated on his progress & if y'all need anything.

Mike Longhany won the $25 Kenny Koonce Jr. Dash for Cash with a .010 reaction & ran a 6.771 on a 6.77 dial-in. He now finds himself as the 5th qualifer for the special shootout race to be ran at Fayetteville on 11/18/12. Homer Carty claimed $50 back of his own money by winning the $50 Best Losing Package for 1st round. Bill Lofton received the $50 Best Reaction Time money for his .002 reaction time 1st round. Again thanks to everyone that came out yesterday & supported the race. Our next race is scheduled for Piedmont Dragway on Sunday, November 11th. Hope to see everyone there!!
