What are you Stock and Super Stock racers using for the required fuel check? New to Stock racing.

chemical content or diaelectic spec.?

Do not use the lever type of valve. I had one and bumped the lever working under the hood and had a bad fuel leak. Lucky it did not cause a fire. Now I use the push button type that cant stay in the open position. That was a lesson learned and a first round loss. I got mine from either Jegs or Summit.

So you don't have to pull the fuel from a fuel line under the hood?

This looks like it just pulls a sample from the tank.

That one mounts on the regulator. Push in and the fuel comes out of the tube. Release and it stops. Looks like a nice way to do the job. As far as I know you have to take the sample from under the hood.

"Pumps/Valves: Cars equipped with carburetor(s) or nonelectronic
fuel (EFI) systems but with mechanical non-OEM fuel
pumps must have a quick-action fuel-shutoff valve within easy
reach of driver and located in the main fuel line between the
fuel tank and the carburetor and/or injectors. Fuel recirculation
systems not part of normal fuel/pump system prohibited. All
cars in Stock, Super Stock, Competition, and Pro Stock must
be equipped with a positive-lock drain valve located between
the fuel tank and the carburetor(s) or fuel injector to facilitate
removal of fuel samples for fuel-check purposes."
