Greg,
I have used Jeg's tie downs for years and have held up very well, they were on sale ...

I've had Macs for a couple of years now, very happy with them.

That's what we ordered about 2 weeks ago, but they never came, and M&R never responded to our calls to ask where they were.

Ordered mac's from Summit. They should be here today. something is going on at M&R because the e-mail address on their web site is undeliverable and no return phone calls from 2 placed calls.

I found the 2" X 96" " Twist-hook" Tie-downs (Pt# ALL10188) to be the best all around straps!

The twisted hook feature makes ratcheting down, safer than the sideways hook, your not twisting the tie-down especially when using an "D"-ring axle strap.

The contact point is straight and perpendicular to the pressure point of where your pulling from.

The other benifit is that the twisted hook is bolted directly to the ratchet itself!
With this type of tie-down there's not a 6" or 8" lead of strap material extending the hook away from the ratchet.
This allows for more leverage when ratcheting and securing a vehicle, and NOT having to crawl under the vehicle to secure it down at all.
