The TSSSSA returned to action this past weekend. It was great to see and talk to everyone. Saturday, the weather was nice; sunny, breezy and warm--until the semifinals. Then a monsoon hit around 7pm or so, ending the day.

It was a MUCH better day Sunday at the track. Sunny, nice breeze, and much cooler today. 28 cars showed up to race. We also finished up the last two rounds of Saturday's race. And, the same guy won both--Bob Shieff became the first racer to ever sweep a weekend in The Tri-State Stock/Super Stock Association, winning the Saturday race, defeating Keith Bowman, who was in his third consecutive final. Semi's were Eric Campolito and Jim Jones; 1/4's were Dave Conkey, Scott Henderson, Terry Knott and Brent Darroch Today, Bob defeated Terry Knott in the final round. Semi's were Tim Kost and Brent Darroch' 1/4 finals were Mike Wood, Wes Leopold Sr and Scott Bricker.

We are back in action in two weeks, September 24-25 at Keystone Raceway Park in New Alexandria PA for the annual PID/Keystone Reunion Nostalgia weekend. Two races, one each day. Saturday 9/24 is the Sixth Annual Bob Butter-Carl Schodde Memorial race $100 S/SS entry); $50 entry on Sunday 9/25, One of our biggest/best races of the season. Hope to see you all there !
