Dragway 42 makeup race Aug. 13th
 

On Sunday August 13th we will have a makeup race at Dragway 42. This is a single day race only. The original race was setup for a double race weekend but a full schedule only allowed for a single race.
We will run this event as originally planned as we will separate the categories into Stock Eliminator, Super Stock Eliminator and Nostalgia Super Stock Eliminator. Winners of these eliminators will receive a class wining trophy as well as $500 . The three winners will then runoff for an additional $1000. The winning racer will earn $1500 for the race all together. We will still pay round money as we always do. After completion of the perspective eliminators, the racer with the best final round package will get a single into the runoff, and the other two will race to the final.
Nostalgia Super Stock racers will run their index of choice as in the NMCA. They are quarter second indexes. (example 10.00 , 10.50, 10.75 11.00, ect.).
Mid Ohio Paving Dial for Dollars will be contested as always as well as the KB trailers Bounty Hunter, Parsons & Myers Racing Engines Best Losing First Round Package, BK Beverage #1 Qualifier, Columbus Joint & Clutch Dead on Zer and PK Race N Rods Best First Round Winning Package. Jeg's Mail Order winner and runner up gift cards and other merch to be given for the overall winner and runner up.
Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the Eastland Crane Super Supporters Bonus. Come to all the races and the racer that goes the farthest in eliminations will be awarded cash for their efforts ($700). Second and third place will also win cash. Only raers that attend all the races will be eligible for the Eastland Crane Super Supporters Bonus.
We know this race is on top of races you may have planned and we are not happy to make racers choose which race to attend. Whatever you choose have a good time. This time of the year it is tough to get a date to make up a race.
