Your feedback please...
What if race entry fee increased to $60 (from $50)...round money could go up to $30...and we could guarantee $600/win?
Or would $1000/win draw more cars??? (We had one in 2008 at Cayuga and only got 22 cars) Thoughts on these possible changes - THESE ARE ONLY IDEAS AT THIS POINT... |
Re: Your feedback please...
seems reasonable, do it, bill

Re: Your feedback please...
Vote for keeping entry the same. $5 more for round money is insignificant. $50 to enter would allow more "on the fence" racers participate. Rather see more participants to keep the series populated than extra dollars to win. Personally for me, I'm not racing just for the cash. It means more to beat the best 10.90 racers in the country.

Re: Your feedback please...
Thanks everyone...for these posts and for the emails. I'm gonna stick with the "IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT" rule and leave race entry fee at $50. When you add on the gate fee, it gets too pricey.
Good news is this....If I am successful and finding presenting sponsors for EVERY event, we WILL have a $600/win scenario with NO INCREASE in racer entry fee. So if you or someone you know has the ability to support our series, please contact me ASAP. PS....Have you checked out the schedule on the website lately? Look at May 22nd.... $1000 to win!!! (Thanks Roy) Please note - The 2010 series points registration fee will be increasing to $40 to cover costs. Ted |
