2005 Car Limit Rule
 

We had EFIV6 work hard to get the Engine Specs to run Pure Stock.
There was a lot of work but damn he managed to do the impossible.

Problem with Pure Stock are the Cam Rules and ability to measure the cam.

So this maybe a dual topic ..

But need everyone support and build up this issue to urge IHRA to increase the 2005 car limit.

Any ideas ...lets talk

I wonder how the 2005 cutoff was determined ?

Did the twin cam variable timing start in 2006 in GM products ?

Alan,
That a good question gm had twin cam in some 4 cyl. Application senses the late 90s that i can remember. As far as cam specs. What are they looking for????? The cams are measured the same as any other cam.

Why limit at 2005..?

Well here is where find their reasons and beat back on them.
Was going to Darlington..now cannot !
MIR in May will see them face to face..

Until then we work on it.
