ASRA races 2/3 June 23 & 24
 

Sat & Sun June 23/24 will be ASRA's biggest weekend of the year . First it's a double race,Saturday night picnic (burgers ,dogs and drinks by ASRA) Please bring a side. Second, race for the fuel. Racer with the highest 2 day points total receives a drum of VP C÷12 courtesy of Lebanon Valley dragway.Three you can leave your rig for the Lucas race . Great weekend of racing ,friends . Pre tune up for the divisional . Come join us ,all NHRA or IHRA stock/ superstock are welcome no need to be a ASRA member. "Be there".

Gates will open at 8am , were usually out around 10am . 2 qualifiers off reaction times . Picnic typically 5-6 pm. Hope to see you there .

Saturday 6/23,,,, 2 time trials , 31 cars , first round is in the books and then mother nature stepped in and ended our day of racing. The cookout however wasrun in its entirety , lots of food,laughs,bench racing and a good time was had by all. Special thanks to Lebanon Valley for graciously offering the 2nd floor of the tower for the event as the gazebo area was soggy.

Sunday 6/24 the track put all eliminators on a one time trial schedule, good move as the rain was coming. 41 cars made 1st round, mother nature did not stop us till the semifinals. 3 cars remaining. Dean Ribiero , Dave Piacentinni (sorry for the spelling Dave) and one other I do not remember. I believe Dave has the bye into the final. Someone pipe in here with the exact facts please.

no word yet on when these 2 races will get finished.

Thanks for posting an update Dave. 3rd person left in from Sundays race is Paul Sutherland.

The make-up date will be Saturday August 11th with Sunday August 12th available if needed. We are going to try and finish both races on Saturday as the semifinalists are not still in for the first race. I'll follow up with some additional details tomorrow.

Wish I could have bin there , I was forced to work O.T. both days , next week looks like more of the same . Time look for another job .
