What a great day for racing at our last event of the year! We had our best car count of the year w/ 44 racers showing up and were fortunate to have a few of the top minds and drivers from NHRA prostock joining us and getting back to their roots of sportsman class racing. Current prostock points leader, Jason Line competed w/ his sweet buick as did Tim Freeman w/ his SS/BM corvette and Rob Downing w/ a beautiful A/SA mopar! These guys are die hard racers as they don't ever seem to take off and how cool is it to have them race w/ us when they have such a big weekend coming up next week at Pomona...good luck at the finals!
The big news of the day was 2nd generation driver Taylor Dunahoo, who is competing in her first year of SS just moving up from jr. dragsters winning over the always tough Jim Reynolds in his super bad '57 chevy. Our semi finalist was Kevin Locklear who had a great day as well.
Jeff and I would like to thank everyone for their support this year and especially the tracks for continuing to allow us to keep "old school" class racing alive and well! We should have final points tabulated by tomorrow.

First...On...Race...Day...is a Winnah...imagine that :):):)
