Morning Rich, That photo of the door bar links( connectors) reminds me of parts my company(don't own it, just been here 35 years) used to produce for a customer that used them as links to a "large" conveyor to move swarf(machining chips, coolant, etc) in a big coolant recirculating tank. Can you enlighten us as to who made them and what material they are made of? Ours were made from either 303 or 316 Stainless steel. We made them more than 10-15 years ago, so it was like a trip down memory lane. They should work well for your application I think. Plus they'll be rigid. Have a great one.

Swapped out the tubular a-arms this morning for the factory pieces. New ball joints, solid bushings, Moroso springs, Aerospace brakes and Lakewood shocks ready to roll.

Marty stopped by this morning to gauge the roll bar install...says no problem. All I need to do is verify from one of the vendors that the hoop will fit the El Camino the same as a Chevelle with the bench seat installed. He can bend one up to fit if need be, but buying one that fits will save time not to mention having to order a 16' stick of CM.

Temporary pause on the El Camino. Found this truck for sale local and it was in such great shape I could not pass on it. We have been in need of a heavier truck to tow with and this one should do nicely...bad news is I have spent all my mad money. :o

The El Camino and the CM tubing are now at Marty's shop for the roll bar installation. :)
