14.28 is what the Turbo Regals ran in 1986-87 completely stock.

I think with a mild tune the EB 2.3 runs 13.80's

You are correct....6 vs. 4.
I was just using that as a comparison of where we were to where we are now...32 years later.

My 2011 naturally aspirated 3.7 V-6 Mustang ran 14.50 @ 97 mph bone stock with 192K miles on it last year.
( 2.73 rear, no tune )
And mine is probably the slowest 3.7 v-6 in the fb group.

Automotive technology has made great strides in the last 20 years :)

THAT is a very debatable subject ! Detroit went out of business around 1971 ! All they make today are computer junk !

This combo is now in the guide, I owned a 2015 Turbo 4 Mustang. With just a tune and some octane booster it ran 12.17@113. Mine was a stick that weighed 3850 with me in it. The auto's with a tune and e85 fuel have run 11.80's with ease, these are street cars. My car with 93 octane would run 12.50's with street tires, it was a blast to drive, but sounded like crap.

The combo would shatter the I/SA, J/SA K/SA records. These turbo Mustangs are everywhere and can be bought cheap. I'm sure we will see one out there very soon.

My wife just got an Edge with a turbo 4 in it. I wonder how it would run? Maybe something for my assistant crew-chief grandson to bracket race?

My wife has a 2016 and I am with Ken, they sound like crap. The fuel mileage isn't any better than the 5.0 that will crush the EB and sounds good doing it.

I still think it's BS to have the submitted HP lower than the Ford advertized HP for classification. It makes it a killer without even being on the track yet.
