Grand Bend Race 5 & 6
 

Race #5 and #6 along with trips to the "Bend" are done for the CanAm Stock/Superstock Series in 2016. Weather was beautiful, track had teeth all weekend and the GBM staff was aces as per usual. A golf cart race thrown into the mix saturday night made for an eventful evening.

Now lets get down to business....

Saturday - Race #5

22 cars agreed to race. After 4 rounds of racing there were two left for the final. Vince Giglio in his GT/FA Camaro was squared away againt Glen Baker in his SS/KA Buick GS. Vince was red handing the victory to Glen. Lone semi finalist was JR Taylor in his 2002 Camaro. Special thanks to our sponsors:

Sunday - Race #6

Lost a few, gained a few. In the end 19 cars were ready. After having some early morning troubles and missing the first time trial Chuck Nagy in his GT/TB Sonoma bested Tomas Schilf in his F/SA 69 Camaro. Chuck also won the bounty hunter award for taking out saturdays race winner, Glen Baker. Lone semi finalist was Dave Comeau in his I/SA 68 Chevelle. Special thanks to our sponsors:
