Cedar Falls Motorsports Park S/SS Race
 

There will be a stock/ss race on Saturday, August 22, at Cedar Falls Motorsports Park in Iowa. This is not a Heartland or Midwest Class Racers race. The race is being sponsored by the track and North Iowa Mopar car club. The stock/ss race is open to all makes. They need 50 cars to make this guaranteed payout work:
Winner $2000 runner-up $750 semi $500 quarters $250 third round $100. If there are more cars, they will increase the lower round money.
Gates will open Friday and stay open all weekend for parking. There is a test and tune Friday afternoon. The scale will be working and is getting certified this week. Entry fee is $125.
Mesenbring racing will be posting $50 for a perfect reaction time on a winning run and $50 for a dead on zero package during a winning run.
During the day they were also be other races going on: 1) Mopar only race with $5000 to win $125 to enter. Payout starts at 3rd round. Pro and super pro winners run off at the end.
2) All makes 32 car shootout with $2000 to win and $1000 runner up. Entry fee is $125. If more than 32 cars are interested there may be multiple shootouts.
3) All makes Gamblers race. Payout depends on car count. $100 entry.

Sunday, August 23 will be an all makes bracket race with $5000 to win. Pro and super pro winners run off at the end. Hope to see all there!

I believe the track was damaged by a storm this week. Is the S/SS races still on?

Gates will be open at 1 pm on Friday. Test and tune from 6-9 pm. Racing will start at 9 am on Saturday and Sunday. Run order will be Pro, Sportsman, Super Pro, S/SS, Mopar Muscle.

Congratulations to Jon Jamison who took the win over Tait Steines. Jason Shepard was the lone semi-finalist!
