So it is that time of year again! We are still in Bowling Green going in to round 2 this morning! But we need reports on what is happening at Indy!! Stacking is supposed to begin at noon today. I wonder how many rigs are there circling now? So if you are there, let us know what is going on!!

According to my sources about 25ish rigs on high ground on west side and grounds had about a 5 hour rain yesterday. I think a few are on SE gate apron. I am on a PAVED I 70 rest area 20 minutes from track as I got my "toter offroading ticket" punched 2 years ago in the south ditch. When I get the code word "Farton" text, I roll. Stay tuned. Phish

That would have been ok !! I wouldn’t even know how to light you up!! LOL

I saw on Facebook last night that Don Kennedy is up there somewhere ! I guess he had a quick recovery from when he left here at Bowling Green before first round because he wasn’t feeling well!! Just thinking about the Big Go is healing !

Hello everyone,

We are here and they are stacking us in the pro staging lanes and pits. Lots of rain here yesterday, the regular stacking area is to soft today. Parking is supposed to begin on Tuesday. There are about 120 rigs here, and its hot and humid.

OK grounds are wet so parking in BRAND NEW staging lanes. Filled pro side first and we are in sportsman side (#86), which is now full. Sequence numbers are jumbled as a west road rig was stuck and held up the show. Kinda' intense on 136 for a while. I could have drove right in at noon. SO now they are on rig 120 and they are parking on north side of pro pit area. You can drive right in. Phish


Bring ice and beer because your going to need Dyno/Phish mower.

We are # 157! We are stacked in the Pro pits! The grass is beautiful and green as we pulled in but evidently very wet after lots of rain here yesterday.i guess there are not any pros here yet! They have to get all of us out of the way before they can come in. Sure hope this isn’t another Dallas SuperCollder weekend!!

Well it is bright and sunny sitting here in stacking! Looks like lots of folks came in overnight. It is going to be in the 90s this afternoon with heat index around 100! Not as hot later in the week. I think we are going out to breakfast in a bit so maybe we can get some idea if we are parking any sooner than tomorrow since it is kinda a cluster now!!

It's Indy. People are keeping what class they will run to themselves, " The TRAIN, The TRAIN '' in the early morning hours, Bob and Tom on Q-95, breakfast at Flap Jacks, and Ray or Bill Skillman selling cars on the local TV station.

A few pics from the pits, in two days it will be covered in rigs and race cars. It must have rained here for days as the grass is green everywhere. The grass looked solid as I walked some of the area. There are the usually spots that hold water, but for the most part the pits looked okay. Both sides of the staging lanes are newly paved, looks nice.

Anyone know when they are going to run heads up class is it during qualifying? Will it be separate from eliminations? Wed,thurs,fri,?

Stock will likely get 2 qualifying runs on Wed, 1 more Thurs morning, then class eliminations Thursday. Stock gets Friday off for tear down. Regular eliminations start Saturday morning.

I heard a rumor tonight that we are not moving in until 10 tomorrow. Has anybody heard anything official??

Well today has been a laid back day. Started out with breakfast at Flap=Jacks and ended with dinner at Sal's Pizzeria. We highly recommend both!! In between was lots of bench racing in the shade of the motorhomes and trailers. It was very hot here today. About 90. Tomorrow is a little better I think. Lots of breeze today right down the track. It sure would of been fun trying to dial today!!

Nothing to take pictures of today, so hopefully we will be in and parked tomorrow and the cameras will come out!!

I'm number 48 sitting in the pro staging lanes. We were told they would start letting us in at 7 am. That was from a few officials we talked to. The grass in the spots we are looking to get pitted at looks really long and needs to be mowed. Anyone have a mower we can borrow. I will have the cow out early but she can only eat so much grass.

Todd, if you head on over with a lawn mower you could make yourself some money. Many racers are on a waiting list just to borrow a mower.

They are a little over halfway through parking rigs, I think everyone will get in that are here. Its hot and humid and windy here.
