90 Nationals at Atco
 

After a 4 year layoff and change in location the .90 Nationals will make it's return to Atco Dragway on July 29 & 30th. This will be a great warm-up for .90 racers who are running the LODRS event the following weekend at Atco as you will be able to leave your trailers at the track. Unfortunately, you will have to move them to a designated spot due to the National Night out they are having at the track on Tuesday unless you are planning to be there Tuesday Night and running their bracket event.

The event will kick off on Saturday with a $2,000 to win per class as a warm-up race. If time permits we will run a high-roller event later that night for all racers. The main event will be Sunday with a $5,000 to win and a Wally race per class. Anyone who would like to Pre-Enter for this race and save about $30.00 on it you may do so. It will be $250.00 for two events if you pre-enter by July 7th. So for $250 you get the shot at a $2,000 to win and a $5,000 to win and Wally race. Basically, you put down a $100.00 deposit and pay the balance at the gates.

We are also looking for sponsors for this event. Unfortunately, this all came together a little late and we weren't able to hit PRI or other sponsors before their budgets were exceeded. So if anyone is interested in being a sponsor or a round sponsor please give DJ a call at the track or myself at 856-332-2851

Also, the more support we receive for this event the better the purses will be. The $2,000 & $5,000 purses are not set in stone and if we get a great turnout the purses will go up. We are doing this for the racers. I know some of you turn your nose up at buybacks but, it helps the purse. The plan is too make this a can't miss event for .90 cars and continue this for years to come with bigger purses and who knows what else. Hope to see you all there.

Don't forget to per-register and save a little cash. Week before the LODRS race, leave your stuff at the track (Do have to move it but, will save on towing & toll cost) and like $7,000 or more reasons to come and play. You support it and we have no problem upping the purse and adding races to this weekend for the .90 racers.

Less then 2 weeks away boys & girls!!! Hope to see all the .90 guys there to support this event and get a decent parking spot for the following weekend's LODRS Event. Here is the tentative schedule for Next weekend:

Friday Will be a Test & Tune for $75.00 starting at 10am till 4:30pm. If you pay the $75 to T&T on Friday Morning / Afternoon that will extend into the Friday Night portion of Atco's program for no additional charge.

Saturday will kick off with time runs beginning around 9:30-10. We are there also with Dave Ley's East Coast Stk/SS series so it will be two qualifiers beginning with:

Super Street
Super Comp
Super Gas
Stock/ SS
Repeat

After the second qualifier is completed it will be right into first round. 1st round will be random pairings.

If time allows we will try to put together another high-roller / Top 16-32-48 Shootout / who knows what DJ might think of

Sunday is the big race for $5,000 (Based on 64 cars per class) and a Wally to take home. Pretty much the same time starts & rotation as Saturday. If your planning on leaving your trailers for the Lucas Race DJ will give you instructions as to where to park when you arrive for the event.

Yes guys,

We kept looking at the weather forecast over the past two days and it was getting worse and worse. When I woke up this morning and saw the rain was spreading all the way to Monday I knew we had to make a call so those of you traveling from a long distance didn't make the haul only for it to be cancelled or you sit in the rain for 3 days. I know how expensive Gas, Tolls, Hotels, Etc are anymore and it wouldn't be right to do that to you all.

So yes, it is postponed till August 26 & 27th and for some on top of the VMP rescheduled D1 Race. We really didn't do this on purpose but, looked at the options of car counts at VMP, Knowing they got through first round of Super Street already so ALL THE classes are set and Tech is closed and no new entries will be allowed in, The Drive back down there is not short & It's a Friday / Sat race hopefully. So I'm sorry if it ticks a few people off but, really no options left this late into the end of the year. Hope to see you all there!
