Yesterday we lost the owner of Brainerd International Raceway. Jed Copham passed away after a boating accident in Florida.

Please join us in offering our condolences to his wife Kristi, his two kids and the entire Copham family. RIP Jed!

I am deeply saddened to learn about the loss of our friend and customer. Jed was the very best that BIR could have ever asked for. His vision,effort and vast improvement of the BIR facilities were unprecedented.

We as drag racers were truly blessed when Jed and his family purchased BIR.
He was a racer & understood what racers were looking for.
Also I must say the fireworks show during the National event was always spectacular, every year.

Thank you, Jed for everything you did for BIR and the racers.You and your passion will be forever missed, but not forgotten.
