Re: Original hemi dart information
Moose,
I have most of the complete history on the Carlton Cuda - maybe missing an owner in the middle - car still has Carlton paperwork. I have a number of lists that have been compiled over the years, NHOA and others and have used them to peice histories together. We know the history of Ed's Dart back to about 1970-1 - The people who bought it can't seem to remember exactly who they bought it from - have spoken to them many times. The GO Hummer car was for sale around this time incidentally. Mark J |
Re: Original hemi dart information
Daryl,
I keep forgetting about the "Cookie Duster" Dart - funny that this cars paint is almost identical to Flynn's (except for the silver on the bottom). There was a Duster that was also called "Cookie Duster" that I saw in an old ND ad from the 80's - it was in MN though. Mark J |

Paul Richardson,,,,,,,,,,,Miami Valley Dodge out of Ohio,,,,
Rear deck lid (trunk),,,,,,,,,,not a big deal,, Some guys pulled of the fiberglass deck lid, and replaced it with a steel trunk lid off of a regular Dart,,,,for a little added weight,,,,;) See Dick Landy's 4-speed Dart,,,,,,he has a trim panel fastened to the trunk deck lid,,,,,,,,in several photo's. The photo of the Miami Valley Dodge SS/BA car is from the 1968 Springnationals (June 1968) @ Englishtown. Don't think those guys would have had time to do a complete clone job back then,,,,,\ pc |
