Lead Sled class

What class will a 1966 Miller Meteor fit in? Weighs about 7000ish.
Also, can the sick dude ride in it while racing? Seems someone did that recently. VALDEZ |

Check it out, wise guy. They exist with no-one to build them. But I DO like the Blues Brothers car. |

This sled wasn't shifting right so we dug out the shop manual that came with it. In top engine photo notice a thing-a-ma-jig with wires below carb. That was a stuck two stage solenoid that should touch a bell crank. Could not find parts on the planet so we drilled the brads, repaired guts and tie wrapped back together. Rigged a lever on our incorrect carb and BAM. At 40% throttle the shift kick down and at 60% you hear a click in the tranny and the stator blades in the convertor go to performance mode. Pretty slick for 1966. That with the 3:40ish pos truck axle makes for a little pep in this baby. Plan on having it ready for Houston Spring Nationals.

SS/PA at 4250#
Make a hole in the track if it ever came crashing down after dragging the bumper. Lol! Is that its name? Valdez? Quite fitting, haha. |

OK, found one a little lighter (very little) but am concerned if the chassis will rotate. Instead of oiling the track, we will drop flower petals each pass. Phish
