70 mustang stocker for sale

Most of you have seen my Mustang and know how nicely built and clean it is. I want to go Super Stock and don't have the heart to cut the back out of it. If anyone is interested, or know someone who is please let me know. looking for $20k rolling pricing can go down or up depending on what goes with the car.

Cheers
Craig Watts

Yep that's the plan Dave. Hate to see the 70 go, I love that car. But all good things come to an end and it's time for something different. Not sure what yet, but it has to be something cool with a big tire!

I agree Frank. But these darn Fords just make too much power :)

HAHAHAHAHA......that just made my day.

Watts....you give up way too easy....ive never seen you under that thing tryin different stuff...you have your bars on the most agressive setting and the wheelie bars are way to high. No wonder it goes for the sky every run. And to try and leave at 4000+ rpm on the brake on a 9in tire with probably way too much tire pressure for the track isnt gonna work. They went 9.50++ on a 9in tire back in 2005 in top stock and a A/SA can easily go into the 9's....there is no way your making more power than a A car bro. Tame it down on the leave with some adjustments. Its way too nice to sell....dont be a fool. Maybe talk to some small tire racers first before jumping into giant balloons and BS. That combo screams 9inches of rubber...its only 302 inches.

Yep for sure...trying to remember the tool sequence....1 1/8 wrench and a 1in wrench...air pressure gauge...done...ohh and my MSD pill kit to kill some rpm on the leave...done. LOL

Ohh and a Jerico DR-4 might not hurt....Need a driver? HAHAHAHA

I have tried everything you mentioned other than lowering the bar location. I leave at 3500rpm now any lower wont hook any higher wont hook. I'm sure if we both put our heads together we could get the thing to work better. Guess I'm looking for something different. Wish I had time, space and money for 2 cars. :(
