NHRA Sportsman TV

Warren Evans new format for 2019......

Good Afternoon -

I would like to announce that D3TV is changing for 2019 and beyond. Next year's schedule will be greatly expanded, with coverage of multiple Lucas Oil Divisional and Regional events in Divisions 2 through 7. (Division 1 will continue their great coverage on D1TV). The new name NHRASportsman.TV better reflects what we do, and aligns better with the renamed NHRA.TV (formerly NHRA All Access). What will not change, however, is the great FREE coverage from tracks all across the US. Here's a link to the new website. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a great 2019 season!

Re: NHRA D3TV

The way I understand it, there is a problem with a "copyright infringement" with the broadcast because the PA-system at the track broadcasts music. Doesn't make sense, but that's how YouTube tries to prevent unauthorized use of copyrighted materials. The music seems to be incidental to what is being shared, so maybe there's a way to fix this!

Yes, Norwalk videos are currently blocked because of the music bed. I am in the process of editing the videos and hope to repost then soon. Since there are 25+ songs to remove and over 30 hours of video, it's gonna take a while.

Trying to watch Indy Points Race. Seems every time someone I want to see leave on the starting line the camera(s) do not switch back. I appreciate the effort but if I'm going to take the time to watch it I'd like it to work correctly. Posting in case Warren is not aware of this.

Hi Steve -
Thanks for the post. It is me switching the cameras and I've missed several today troubleshooting some stuff. Sorry I'm a little off my game today.

That's what my wife told me was probably happening. Please limit your troubleshooting to when the "Super" classes run. LOL Keep up the good work. We enjoy it a lot.

First we had NHRA D1TV, now we have NHRA D3TV. Hopefully there'll be an NHRA D7TV in the forseeable future????

I'm trying to broadcast at least one race from each division, plus all of the Division 3 LODRS events. We would have live streaming everywhere with more funding and available resources.

Next up is the Topeka "double" this weekend.

Oh, and by the way, D3TV was first! LOL

Well if you head out west to D7, I hope you can make the last points race that'll be held in early November. That race should have the most cars, mainly because divisional and national championships are generally decided at either that race or the following week at the "World Finals" in Pomona, and we get racers from all divisions there at that race!

I am trying to put together the dollars to come out to Vegas for the final race. If anyone out there is interested in advertising on D3TV to make that happen, please PM me. Thanks!

Thank you Warren for Live Streaming the Vegas points race! It was great to see not only my car in action along with my competition, but all of the other classes as well! I may be a little late, but better late than not at all, especially since I was hopeful of it.

Re: NHRA Sportsman TV

Hi All -

As you know, NHRA has elected to go in a different direction with their Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Divisional coverage, and that does not include my services. I am glad that they have agreed to provide the coverage for free rather than by subscription or pay-per-view. That was very important to me when we discussed the possibility of joining their team and I am glad their position changed.

I intend on continuing live streaming events in 2021 and beyond. My schedule is available on my website https://dragracer.tv. Plenty of open dates remain. Please contact me if I can be of service with live streaming, event announcing, or content production.

My cell number is (217) 294-0652.

Thank you all for your support. Hope to see you at the track.

Warren Evans
