Buckeye SS/Stk Series rollcall, this Sat @ Mt Vernon, Ohio
 

All right racers and fans, the 2015 season will begin this weekend Saturday May 30th at Pacemaker Dragway Park in Mt. Vernon, OH.
Gates will open Saturday at 12:00 noon. Open time trials will be from 2:00 to 3:00.
3:00 time trials will then be called by class (2 qualifiers). Eliminations will be around 6:30ish (???)
Our first qualifier will also be Dial for Dollars sponsored by Mid Ohio Paving. Put a dial on your car, closest to it will pocket $100. If you run a time trial in the open time trial you will not be eligible for the Dial for Dollars.
We will run two qualifiers and after the second one we will have a racers meeting at my trailer to pull chips for Nitro Joe to ladder everyone up for parings. The meeting is usually about 15 minutes after the second qualifier.
Parsons and Myers Racing Engines will pay the best winning first round package $100 cash as they have done for the Buckeye S/SS Series for many years.
The track will have test and tune on Friday night from 5:00 to 10:00 pm with a gamblers race planned. Racers can stay overnight for Saturdays race.
Also, the 2015 Season is remembering Dave Layer with a program called the Dave Layer Memorial Cup. The racer that has the highest point total at the last points race (this would be the Magnolia race on Labor Day Monday) will earn the Cup Trophy and $1000 cash. This is sponsored by Phillips Sheet Metal (Rob Holmes' Family business) in Dave's Memory.

a special note, this is one of those tracks that sells parking spots so pay attention where you park, those people go postal when you park in their places, lol
