Memphis Homecoming
 

Good turnout this weekend in Memphis for the stock/super stock combo. Lots of new cars I haven't seen at the NMCA events. We had 24 cars in the combo from a V/SA to an A/SA plus the newer Drag Paks, COPO's and Mustangs. Plus ATI and Deuce Machining put up $2600 for a 32 car shootout featuring the combo, NSS and NMC cars. In the shootout it was Andy Warren over Bruce Lang. In the combo Scott Libesher won a double breakout against me. Lots of great racing as usual at these events. Thanks to Doug Duell for organizing the shootout as well as ATI and Deuce Machining for the sponsorship.

Definitely a good event. Car counts in S/SS and NSS were good as well.
Thought the shoot out was a fun deal.

We need this to happen again!! NMCA did a great job working us in on Sunday and not rushing us between rounds.

That's for sure! I was racing 3 classes. Going out early in the Copo kind of freed me up a bit, but Rollie and the team did a great job giving us plenty of time to go back and forth.
