Dragway 42 hosts GLPTA season finale September 14-15
 

The season finale for the GLPTA will be in West Salem, Ohio at the famed Dragway 42 on September 14-15. There will be 2 races in each class and that will make the 8 races for the season. Of those 8 races, we will pick the best 5 for each racer entered in our points program. This total will determine the class champion and will win them a BOGO deal on a new set of Hoosier Racing Slicks and a one-of-a-kind Champions Jacket from Bruce Browning and the people at Hoosier Tire MidWest. Several other prizes will be awarded to the racers in the points program including a Powerglide Transmission Rebuild from Lang Transmission, a Rear Differential Rebuild from the Ring and Pinion Shop, and a $100 gift certificate from Number1 Stop Products.

The Super Street Points have Paul “Racer” Brown leading Craig Meyer by 25 points and Les Harris in third place.

Super Gas points show Paul “Racer” Brown at the top of the heap again with Leo Zynda trailing by 30 points, Pat DeBottis back by 36, and Rock Haas behind by 70.

Super Comp shows the leader as “Dyno” Devin Heitzman with Rock Haas only 6 points behind! Alana Haas is in third place after her big win in Columbus.

Some good racing could jumble up the points and we will see what happens. Dragway 42 will have a test-n-tune on Friday and then there will be a race on both Saturday and Sunday that will determine our season champions.
