Kirk-- I "believe" all V-8 K members are the same EXCEPT the HEMI--If its a 6 cylinder k member then i " believe" they are different- you need to just raise the adjustment on the torsion bars for the additional weight--- Check other Mopar guys to be sure

FED 387 is correct. E-body standard V-8 K-members will accept a small or big block with only the correct engine side motor mount brackets needed.

/6 k-member could be used with adapter mounts. Not sure on the details of a Hemi version. But they are too expensive anyway.

Just make sure you're getting an E-body K-member and not one from a B-body.

Are the B body K frames the same as E body K frames ?

Depends on what year, B&E 70 up same, 66-69 have different sway bar mount but will work if not using bar.

E-body and 71-72 B-body k-members interchange.

70 B-body is different.

The steering box mounts at more of an angle on 66-70 B-bodies.

I knew there were differences, but didn't know the details. Here is a thread from moparts.com that discusses the topic.

I thought there was a mounting point difference. But it sounds like there might be some geometry issues and perhaps a steering shaft angle change could interfere with headers.

After reading about steering box angle, I checked my 73 E-body k frame to my 67 B-body k frame, both have the same angle. Around 24 degrees from level.?
