Re: 70 Dodge Challenger
Kirk-- I "believe" all V-8 K members are the same EXCEPT the HEMI--If its a 6 cylinder k member then i " believe" they are different- you need to just raise the adjustment on the torsion bars for the additional weight--- Check other Mopar guys to be sure

You can also search on:
http://www.cuda-challenger.com/ http://www.moparts.com/ FED 387 is correct. E-body standard V-8 K-members will accept a small or big block with only the correct engine side motor mount brackets needed. /6 k-member could be used with adapter mounts. Not sure on the details of a Hemi version. But they are too expensive anyway. Just make sure you're getting an E-body K-member and not one from a B-body. |
Re: 70 Dodge Challenger
Are the B body K frames the same as E body K frames ?

70 B-body is different. The steering box mounts at more of an angle on 66-70 B-bodies. |

I thought there was a mounting point difference. But it sounds like there might be some geometry issues and perhaps a steering shaft angle change could interfere with headers. http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/...-e-b-body.html |
