GLPTA winners from Milan Dragway
 

This weekend we witnessed some extremely good Super Gas racing at Milan Dragway.
Saturday - The "Oil-Down Nationals" was a long day and saw Ohio's Jerry Spoor and Canada's Corrine MacMillan come to the line at midnight to settle the race only to have Corrine go red with a -.010 light and give Jerry the win with a .015 light and a slowing 10.03. They worked through delays, Mother Nature and a very tough field and both deserve credit for their efforts.
Sunday brought great weather and also some very close racing. Michigan's own Rock Haas and Ohio's Ken Bowers came together in the final round that had the makings of a good one. We were not disappointed and again the race was decided at the starting line. Rock's -.001 reaction time was one click better than Ken's -.002 light. You can't get any closer than that! Both drivers did an excellent job.

We will head to Dragway 42 to settle the season long title this coming weekend.
