just saw online where a Biker was stopped in NY for going 193 MPH IN THE RAIN on the highway--- also just recently someone else was stopped going 167 MPH on that same stretch of road!!!!!!!!! -these guys hafta have a death wish dont you think???

Fed, that sounds like Ocean Parkway. Lots of speed goes on there regularly. But you sand blast your winshield as it runs along the Jones Beach to Captree Fishing docks. a number of miles in between, maybe 10 I think.

A local, former outlaw drag racer was just sentenced to a stint in prison for getting clocked at 188, and then running from the police.

with new laws being enacted on street racing.it is mandatory 1 year in jail and felony in ny.
you can do less time drinking and driving, driving on drugs, drinking and driving and killing someone or driving on drugs killing someone and texting or phone talking and driving and killing someone too.
politicians do all the above but street race obviously.

Larry entered that car in Comp at Topeka last year and made it to the 3rd round. Best he ran was a 6.98 on a 7.04 AA/AT index but a pretty impressivev ride.

I saw that when he did it and I shook my head, wow what a car and combo. Really something driving it in too. My hat is off to him.

I do agree with FED, must have a death wish. Roads are terrible out there, more deer and other critters, none that I want to see at that speed.
