Due to the stormy weather forcast, Fonzie and myself have decided that it would be best to postpone the race scheduled for this Sunday, May 19th to October 6th. It will still be run as 1/4 mile race.

Our next race will be June 15th at Dunn-Benson.

Thanks
Scott Tilley

OK this one is cancelled but let's try to get a little closer to race day before we cancel the next one. Gonna have thunderstorm chance everyday for the rest of the summer. Not tring to give you a hard time just my opinion.

Re: CCRA 2013 Race # 2 Fayetteville Motorsports Park

I, more than anybody, wants to get all the races in on the scheduled date. Moving races around, trying to find good dates when we think we will have a good car count is no easy feat. Alot tracks do not like to run in the hot part of the summer due to having low car counts and I don't blame them. You have to remember that we support ourselves with the purse. Do you want to race when there is only 17 cars with a $1275.00 purse or 32 cars with a $2400.00 purse, same number of rounds.

I have to look at what is best for our association and not what is best for just a few drivers and/or car owners.

Rain in the forcast keeps racers from making a 2,3,4 hour trip which hurts car counts which hurts the payout.

Thanks for your support.
