FS Used Richmond Gear 4.86 R&P set, 8 3/4 742 case

I have for sale, a great used Richmond Gear 4.86 ring and pinion set for the 742 8 ¾ case, P/N 69-0048-1.

These gears were in my 71 340 Demon NHRA stock eliminator car for 1 season and they have only 34 runs on them. We lost Atco Raceway at the beginning of the season so lost 6 S/SS races. That’s why only 34 runs this season. They show excellent wear patterns on both the thrust and coast side of both the ring gear and the pinion gear. The inner pinion shim that was used with my case is .100” so that would be a good starting point to get the pinion depth. I couldn’t see any cracks or any issues by looking at it and they didn’t make any noise when in the car. I regularly change the gears at the end of my race season as part of my preventative maintenance program. I’d like to get $145.00 for the gears plus the shipping. They will fit into a USPS medium flat rate box for $17.20 and will get to any of the 50 States.
