NSS at the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals, Aug 21-23
Since we started the planning stages of the first Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals over two years ago, we've had requests to include Nostalgia Super Stock in our program, and this year, we will do so.
2nd Annual Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals August 21-23, 2015 National Trail Raceway - Hebron, OH This is the week before your event at Norwalk, so teams could make a swing out of things. The race will have video coverage by RobzNeed4Speed Videos. The plan would be for 2 qualifying runs Friday and 2 qualifying runs Saturday. NSS racers would be permitted to enter Saturday's NitroPlate S/SS Combo Warmup ($100 entry, $3,000 to win, $50 round money starting 3rd round loss). NSS will have its own eliminator on Sunday. The entry fee would be in the $100-$120 range for $1,500 to win and paying at least 8 places. Presenting sponsorship on the class is available: Interested businesses or individuals can contact me at staginglight@gmail.com Michael Beard Loose Rocker Promotions |

Great idea ,Michael.
Lots of NSS cars in that part of the country...Something that S/SS fans can relate to. |
Re: NSS at the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals
What rules are you using for the NSS? What model/motor/ years are eligible?

Re: NSS at the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals
My good friend Phil and I will bring a 63 Plymouth N/SS for this event. Since I currently don't have a stocker, this is a great alternative to compete at this race. Should have a good turnout, August can't come fast enough.

Re: NSS at the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals
I noticed the 64-67 Buick and Olds mentions the use of a Q-jet but the Pontiac/GTO/Tempest section does not.
The Qjet came out in 1967 on all three. Years ago, Tony DePillo and the NSCA added the Pontiac Q-jet on all 64-67's ,at my request. I thought the NMCA had, also. Not wanting to stir up anything here...Rather to avoid some Pontiac racer having a problem next August. |
Re: NSS at the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals
It's listed the same in both NMCA and the Nostalgia Super Stock National Association. Any discrepancies should be addressed to these sanctioning bodies.
