if nothing else, the people ihra are putting in place shows a commitment to making this happen. they still need tracks and i dont see how it can be done without wdra.

i am optimistically up tp 47% that this could happen.

WOW! Alan Reinhart is drag racing to Nancy and I. His wit, humor and knowledge of most racers and drag racing is amazing. Going to miss his morning wake ups. However we miss IHRA as well?they were great in the day. Can?t wait to see and hear Alan again! IHRA ROCKS.

With all the silliness going on at the IHRA I hope things are still good for him.

Alan, did what he had to do to get back doing the only thing he knows how to do. I wish him well but IMO this guy Darryl Cuttell is another clown, a wannabe racer and promoter whose foray will never live up to his claims and will be short lived.

Says the “little fella” that’s pissed off the NHRA didn’t/doesn’t consult with him on rule changes to stock eliminator. :D

Didn't at some point Alan Reinhart work at / with Nickens brothers racing engines?

LOL! That one statement shows 100% how utterly clueless you are.

My understanding is that he worked for Nickens back when Nickens was involved in Pro Stock. I don't know the dates.

Thanks. That is the time frame that I seemed to remember as well.

When I did tech commentary for Pro Stock sessions, occasionally it was with Alan if it happened during his shift. I remember him talking about spending a lot of time at the Nickens shop but never remember him saying he actually worked there. But for full disclosure, for some reason we didn't have the best relationship so there wasn't much off-mic personal conversations.

Alan---worked either for /with or was at the Nickens Racing shop in 2005 while Nickens was working on solving the valve spring durability/longevity problems that they were having--they brought in some F1 racing engineers to try different ideas--either Alan or Bob Frey wrote quite an extensive article on this-FED 387
